Hey there friend, so glad you're here!

My name is Kat Guenet, and I am a published Wedding/ Elopement + Lifestyle Photographer, and your new friend with a lens! I started out as an East Coast, Boston area gal, who packed a few bags and moved out west to follow some big dreams. I've been lucky enough to call Seattle and the PNW home for the last few years, and just recently became a resident of Treasure Valley, ID in 2020.

I'm also a newlywed (although I think having your first year of marriage or wedding planning in a pandemic adds an honorary few years)! After 8 years of dating, long distance, and a cross country move, I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Keith in August 2019. He's the other, behind the scenes half of this business, and your extra hype-man!

In my free time you can find me with friends & family (I'm the big sis), hiking, singing & songwriting, doing yoga, horseback riding, and eating mac and cheese (or cheese of any kind...not really a hobby but I love it), and crafting things like clay earrings.

I love visiting new places, and any opportunity to genuinely vibe with people people and get to know their story. Apart from Photography, I have a Bachelors of Music for Music Management and Vocal performance. Music & Photography have always played such a pivotal role in my life because both allow us to relive experiences, and be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
